Tsingcarbo O

Tsingcarbo® O is a porous polymer chromatography packing primarily used in gas chromatography (GC) for the separation of permanent gases, light hydrocarbons, CO₂, and trace oxygen components. It inherits the broad-spectrum separation performance of Porapak Q while fundamentally eliminating oxygen adsorption issues at the molecular level.

Key Properties

Chemical Composition: A high-purity modified porous polymer microsphere with passivated surface and internal active sites.

Physical Characteristics:

Oxygen Adsorption: None, no irreversible oxygen adsorption

Particle Size: 60/80 mesh, 80/100 mesh (custom sizes available)

Max Operating Temperature: 300°C (excellent compatibility with temperature programming)

Separation Equivalence: Equivalent separation performance to Porapak Q, with no adsorption interference for oxygen components

Batch Consistency: Stable and consistent performance from batch to batch

Primary Applications

Trace oxygen analysis in high-purity gases: ppb/ppm level oxygen detection in electronic specialty gases and inert gases

Permanent gas separation: CO, CO₂, etc.

Light hydrocarbons (C₁–C₃) separation: Methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, propylene

CO₂, N₂O, H₂O, and sulfide detection: Suitable for high-purity gas quality control and environmental monitoring

Compatible detectors: TCD (Thermal Conductivity Detector), DID (Discharge Ionization Detector), and other trace gas detectors
