——————————————————
Spherical
Hard and non-friable
Highly porous
Used for molecules with an analyte size relative to C2-C5 n-alkanes
General description:
Generally, compared to spherical graphitized polymer carbon (SGPC) and graphitized carbon black (GCB) adsorbents, CMS adsorbents have greater relative adsorptive strength. Tsingcarbo S is a type of CMS adsorbent.
Different from Tsingcarbo 1000,Tsingcarbo S has non-tapered pores. It is a microporous only carbon with an apex at 8 Å, while Tsingcarbo 1000 is a multiporous carbon that contains both micro and macropores. Owing to the presence of only micropores, it has a very strong adsorption strength. Furthermore, they provide excellent performance for many small, volatile analytes that are difficult to retain in most adsorbents
Features:Having the similar pore structure and adsorption performance as Carbosieve S-Ⅱ, it has a higher adsorption capacity.
Suitable for separation:Permanent gases such as H2, O2, Ar, CO, and CO2, as well as C1 to C2 hydrocarbons (methane, ethane, ethylene, acetylene).
